The Sleep Technologist with CRT/RRT and RCP licensed applies principles of polysomnography and TJC/AASM compliance standards for dual accreditation. Responsible for day-to-day operation of the Sleep Disorders Center with oversight from the SDC Manager, including the ordering of supplies and scheduling of staff. Promotes excellent customer service while responding to inquiries regarding testing and billing in regards to the SDC. Responsible for billing audits and quality control of the SDC.

Type:
Full-time, 72 hours per 2 week pay period
Typical hours: 7:00p-7:00a, days may vary between Monday-Friday
Education:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Certification, Professional License, or Credential:
- RCP license for the State of Missouri
- Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Polysomnography Technologist or Sleep Disorder Specialist
- BLS Certification
Experience:
- 0 years of experience in sleep disorders and a minimum of 1 year as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist to perform all duties associated within the department.
- If CRT/RRT, candidate can train and study to take the Sleep Disorder Specialist exam within 6 months of hiring into the Sleep Lab.
- Perform polysomnography testing for diagnostic purposes and CPAP titrations in accordance with American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and the Joint Commission guidelines.
