Primary Responsibilities- Teach face‑to‑face, blended, and/or online courses and provide clinical supervision of pre‑licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), RN‑BSN, and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) students with a focus on research and clinical practice with various populations in Medical Surgical Nursing settings.
- Utilize simulation and technology‑based teaching/learning strategies.
- Participate in curricular assessment, revision, and evaluation.
- Engage in student recruitment, retention, and mentoring.
- Participate in committee work, public service, and professional organizations.
- Doctorial Degree in Nursing or related field and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN);
Degree must be from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/government certified university. - Missouri Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), with Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification is a plus.
- Current, unrestricted RN (Registered Nurse) license in Missouri, multi‑state or eligibility for Missouri licensure.
- Teaching nursing experience within the last three years, including theory or clinical instruction, in a faculty or preceptor role.
- Recent clinical experience in nursing within the last three years (faculty or staff); recent experience in Medical Surgical Nursing settings a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to collegiality when interacting with students, faculty, staff, and the community.
