Join our awesome team as a PRN (on call) CDL Passenger Driver at Gulf Coast Village, a part of Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS).
Schedule: PRN (on call)
About the JobDrive Gulf Coast Village Transportation Fleet to transport residents.
- Drives vehicle from community area to destination according to assigned schedule.
- Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
- Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
- Operates cell phone to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
- Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
- Meets all Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). including passenger’s endorsements.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsements.
- Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
- Current First-Aid and CPR certification.
