Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $21.01 - $24.69 / hour
SummaryResponsible for hospital claims billing, hospital claims follow-up, and hospital claims denials resolution. Responsible for reconciliation of accounts receivable by working assigned reports and producing high volumes. Identify variance discrepancies, including underpayment/over payment. Promote positive employee and customer relations and work independently or within a team environment. Track problems and trends and report them to Management. Apply applicable adjustments and utilize all avenues of reimbursement prior to assigning an account to self-pay.
Manage multiple tasks with critical thinking to handle complexity and stress while providing excellent customer service. A friendly personality and positive attitude are required. Previous healthcare or financial-related experience is necessary. Prior experience with insurance collections within a hospital or medical office setting is preferred.
