Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a JROTC Instructor located in the Cape Coral Metropolitan Area. The JROTC Instructor will lead and coordinate the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program, provide military‑style leadership education, and mentor students to develop discipline, teamwork, and civic responsibility. Responsibilities include planning and implementing classroom instruction, supervising cadet activities, organizing extracurricular events such as drills, competitions, and community service, as well as ensuring compliance with JROTC program standards and guidelines.
The instructor will also collaborate with school staff, parents, and other stakeholders to support the educational and personal development of students.
- Proficiency in leadership, team building, and mentoring skills
- Instructional expertise in delivering educational content and training
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in military service is required, with certification or eligibility as a JROTC instructor
- Commitment to fostering personal growth and civic responsibility in students
- Prior teaching or training experience is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively within the school and community
