Seasonal Parking Attendant

Description

Role: The Parking Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient flow of vehicles within the Slipaway Food Truck Park & Marina parking areas. This role ensures guests are directed appropriately, parking is maximized, and traffic congestion is minimized.

While the primary focus is parking lot management and guest assistance, the attendant may provide light facility support as needed.

* THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION. YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.

Environment: Dynamic, outdoor/indoor environment. Minor travel may occur. Subject to loud noise levels.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to handle customer issues with diplomacy and resolution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 lbs.
• Comfortable interacting with guests in both indoor and outdoor settings

• Direct vehicles to designated parking areas efficiently and safely
• Maintain organized traffic flow during peak hours and events
• Monitor parking capacity and communicate availability to management
• Assist guests with parking-related questions
• Help ensure emergency access lanes remain clear at all times
• Identify and report safety hazards immediately

• Greet arriving guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide general park information when appropriate
• De-escalate minor traffic or parking concerns calmly and professionally

• Assist with light cleanup of parking and surrounding areas
• Help maintain cleanliness of entryways and common areas
• Support operations during busy periods as directed by management
