Come join our awesome Sales and Marketing team as a Full-Time Area Sales-Marketing Director serving both our locations from Gulf Coast Village (Palmview) and The Preserve Assisted Living. We're offering a great work environment and a flexible schedule!

The Gulf Coast Village Campus (Palmview) and The Preserve Assisted Living are part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization.

The position will help serve sales and marketing at both of our locations from Gulf Coast Village (Palmview) up to 70% and The Preserve Assisted Living up to 30% of the time.

Schedule - Monday thru Friday, working 8:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional weekends needed, working 40 hours weekly

POSITON SUMMARY

To serve as the primary facility representative facilitating the admissions process for residents and their families, facility staff and referral sources. In addition, this individual will serve as primary liaison between the facility and the community at large in marketing the facility and increasing awareness of our programs and services. Responsible for coordinating admission inquiries from referral sources and the public, serving as the initial facility representative to inquiring parties for admission;

and maintaining relationships with residents and responsible parties and works to ensure census goals are met.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate from a post-secondary program.
  • Ability to read, speak and write fluently in English, excellent communication and phone skills.
  • Negotiation skills and ability to carry on several levels of reasoning at once during problem solving sessions; ability to think quickly and to write contracts and complex written arguments.
  • Ability to work with residents of varying levels of responsiveness.
  • Advanced knowledge of customer service, marketing and sales principles and practice.

  • Serves as customer service representative for internal and external marketing efforts.
  • Assists Administration in the development of a yearly marketing plan and has primary responsibility for carrying out details of the plan.
  • Serves as liaison between administration and nursing when coordinating the admission process.
  • Handles referral calls and assists in the pre-screening process.
  • Communicates admission information to concerned departments, as appropriate.
  • Communicates the status of admissions and the daily census to all concerned departments represented at the management meetings.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing materials, complying with the organization’s graphic standards and messaging guidelines.
  • Provide direction, coaching, idea generation and training to building personnel to help meet targeted goals.
