Senior Tax Accountant

Trueline is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a respected Cape Coral, Florida based CPA firm known for its specialized tax expertise and close-knit team, . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced public accountant who wants a long-term home with meaningful client relationships, strong autonomy, and a healthy work-life balance.

• 5 to 10 years of public accounting experience, ideally in a small to mid-sized CPA firm
• Strong background in tax preparation and planning for individuals and entities (1040, 1120, 1065, etc.)
• Experience working with non-resident clients and cross-border tax issues
• Proficiency in Quick Books and general bookkeeping workflows
• EA or CPA designation (or currently pursuing) a big plus
• High attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to manage workload independently

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, S-Corp, and trust tax returns, with a strong focus on non-resident 1040s
• Handle tax planning and advisory for clients with diverse portfolios
• Work closely with the firm’s principal CPA to manage client engagements from start to finish
• Provide high-level bookkeeping support and Quick Books oversight for select clients
• Collaborate with internal bookkeeping team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Support clients with IRS correspondence, compliance, and filings
• Maintain detailed work papers and documentation in line with public accounting standards

• Experience with trust returns and high-net-worth individuals
• Comfortable in a small office setting with direct client interaction
• Familiarity with Florida-specific tax nuances and regional client needs
