Temporary Associate

Kate Spade New York is looking for a Temporary Sales Associate to join our team.

• Achieve individual sales goals.
• Develop strong product knowledge across all categories.
• Deliver exemplary customer service by creating the ultimate Kate Spade experience.
• Build personal connections with guests using effective selling skills.
• Partner with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate selling culture.
• Initiate business-driving events in store.
• Communicate client feedback to store leadership to elevate client service and sales.
• Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds and completing bank deposits.

• Minimum–3 years’ experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proven ability to contribute to an elevated selling culture.
• Elevated sense of personal style.
• Available to work the store schedule as needed, including evenings and weekends.
• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable climbing ladders.

Base pay range: $15.00–$16.00 per hour.
