Instrumentation Fitter & Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Instrumentation Technician is responsible for bending and installing tubing and fittings in analyzer systems. This role requires strong mechanical skills, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

• Lay out, fabricate, and install soft and hard drawn copper tubing, stainless steel, exotic tubing with all its associated fittings
• Installing and Testing systems using schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, tubing diagrams, and PID’s (Proportional-Integral-Derivative's)
• Perform various mechanical and leak performance testing with either air pressure, nitrogen, and in many cases Helium for High purity systems
• Perform Oxygen cleaning, high purity autonomous welding of tubing, and other specialty analyzer sample systems for Hi-Tech industries

• MUST be able to read and interpret blueprints (layout drawings, tubing schematics, PID, etc.)
• MUST be able to use all appropriate measurement devices (tape, square, level, etc.)
• MUST be familiar with the use of test equipment: VOM, Loop Simulator, pressure testers, and other instrumentation for testing
• MUST be able to use power and hand tools
• MUST be able to PASS a background check and drug screen

Monday - Thursday .......
6am - 4:30pm (Occasional Over-Time as needed)

Starts at $28+/hr. (Depending on level of Experience)
