* Job Description:
** - Join our innovative therapy team, focusing primarily on orthopedics with some neuro cases.
- Enjoy a structured work schedule:
Days from 8 AM to 5 PM, with early closings on Fridays.
- Patient ratio of 1:1, allowing for personalized care and attention (one patient every 45 minutes).
- Responsible for assessing, planning, evaluating, and implementing physical therapy care for a designated patient population.
- Gather pertinent data from patient charts and collaborate with other care givers, including physicians.
- Independently assess diverse patient types, demonstrating keen judgment in decision-making.
- Recognize additional patient needs during evaluations and advocate for necessary tests.
- Interpret results to formulate realistic, measurable, and attainable goals for patients.
- Regularly reassess patient progress in accordance with department policies and regulations.
- Identify appropriate equipment for each patient and engage in meaningful discussions with them and their families.
** Requirements:** - Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) - Current PT License in the state of Texas - BLS certification (American Heart Association only) - Minimum of 1 year of experience
