Overview
Look no further for a wonderful opportunity to expand your career with the YMCA as an Aquatic Director! The Meyers Lake YMCA, part of the YMCA of Central Stark County in Canton, Ohio, is seeking an Aquatic Director. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in aquatics, swim lessons and other aquatic-related operations. They will report directly to the Executive Director of the Meyers Lake YMCA.
Qualifications- Excellent leadership skills with supervision of daily duties relating to an indoor pool
- Degree in related field or commensurate field experience preferred
- CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard certified preferred
- Lifeguard Instructor Trainer (attained w/in 6 months)
- Certified Pool Operator certifications (attained w/in 1 year)
- Staff supervision and hiring
- Scheduling, teaching, and developing all programs related to the pool and safety requirements
- Supervise and maintain pool and equipment
- Developing, coordinating, and implementing all pool programs
- Fiscal management and budgeting processes
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, school admin and other organizations
