RN - MedSurg​/Tele

Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts weekly.

The Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse will provide quality patient care within the telemetry unit, focusing on patients with medical and surgical conditions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in monitoring patients' cardiac rhythms and patient assessments.

• Provide direct patient care in the Telemetry unit
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor patient vitals
• Administer medications and perform related procedures as needed
• Educate patients and families regarding health management

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• NIH Stroke Scale certificate must be obtained prior to start
• Epic experience is essential
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required
