Travel Nurse (locum tenens) - Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date:
September 22, 2025 - Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1510 - $1620
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Ohio RN license preferred)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical bedside experience as a Med/Surg RN (2 years preferred)
- Experience in Medical/Surgical, Same Day Surgery, Detox, Bone Marrow Transplant, Mental Health, or IDD nursing preferred
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized patient care plans
- Deliver direct patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and/or orientees
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and interdisciplinary healthcare team meetings
- Initiate discharge planning and provide patient/family education from admission
- Promote patient and staff safety by following hospital policies and clinical best practices
- Communicate effectively with physicians, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary care providers
- Foster a positive team environment and participate in unit team-building activities
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing nursing education
