About Us
We are a nationally recognized retail marketing and print execution partner known for bringing ideas to life across design, print, production, and in‑store execution. Position OverviewThe Litho Planner is responsible for converting awarded jobs into executable production plans. This role takes project details from sales or project managers and determines the most efficient, cost‑effective way to schedule, prepare, and route work through the litho production environment. Nearly all printed pieces produced in this division are destined for mounting, trimming, die‑cutting, and final kitting.
This role is essential to ensuring smooth production flow and requires a strong balance of technical understanding, detail orientation, and communication with internal team members.
ResponsibilitiesRequired
- Review project specifications, quotes, artwork, and job details to plan efficient litho production routing.
- Determine press layouts, sheet optimization, and production instructions to minimize waste and maximize throughput.
- Prepare job tickets and communicate required details to pressroom, finishing, and downstream teams.
- Collaborate with project managers and sales to clarify details and maintain alignment on schedules and expectations.
- Identify potential production constraints and propose solutions proactively.
- Ensure artwork, components, and specifications match project requirements before releasing jobs into production.
- Support internal quality control standards and escalate discrepancies promptly.
Preferred
- Experience planning or scheduling work in a litho or large-format print environment.
- Familiarity with post‑press operations such as mounting, die‑cutting, trimming, and kitting.
- Exposure to versioned retail programs with large numbers of SKUs.
Required
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret production quotes, artwork, and technical specifications.
- Comfortable working with manufacturing workflows, scheduling processes, or operational planning.
- Ability to learn litho print processes quickly and apply them accurately in daily work.
- Effective internal communication skills across multiple departments.
Preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in print production planning or a similar technical support role.
- Experience with retail signage, POP, or multi-component print programs.
- Work with recognizable national brands across a wide retail footprint.
- Join a high‑tenure, supportive, and collaborative team where many members have advanced to leadership roles across the organization.
- Experience continuous learning — every project is different, every challenge builds expertise.
- Be part of a growing division experiencing strong business demand and expanding client volume.
