Printing Press Operator - 2nd Shift

At Standard Printing Company, we take pride in producing high-quality printed materials that meet our customers' exact specifications. We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Press Feeder Operator to join our team and help us maintain our standard of excellence.

$2,000 Hiring Bonus

• Material Loading:
  Accurately load paper, cardboard, or other substrates into the press, ensuring proper alignment and continuous feeding throughout the print run.
• Press Operation Support:
  Work alongside the press operator to monitor press performance and ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Mechanical Adjustments:
  Make on-the-spot adjustments to feeder mechanisms, paper tension, and alignment to maintain quality output and prevent downtime.
• Quality Control:
  Regularly inspect materials for defects, ensuring accurate ink application, color registration, and material integrity.
• Troubleshooting:
  Quickly identify and resolve feeding or mechanical issues to keep the press running smoothly.
• Maintenance:
  Assist in routine press cleaning and minor maintenance tasks to ensure equipment longevity and efficiency.
• Documentation:
  Track production data, including material usage, job details, and any issues encountered during the process.

• Enjoy a 4-day, 10-hour workweek giving you more flexibility in your schedule and a great work-life balance.
• Normal hours Monday - Thursday 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in manufacturing or printing environments.
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
• Previous experience with printing presses is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right candidate.
• Must be able to stand/walk up to 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
