Currently, our client is looking for a Materials Manager.

• Create a smooth flow from the purchasing of raw materials to the shipping of manufactured products
• Manage demand planning, production scheduling, and inventory control
• Oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials
• Develop and refine SOPs for purchasing, inventory control, material/production planning, warehousing, and shipping
• Ensure adequate availability of materials for production needs
• Work with suppliers to improve material delivery and quality
• Assist with departmental budget
• Continuously communicate materials updates with other department leaders
• Ensure on-time and accurate shipping
• Create a proactive and positive working environmental in all areas of materials
• Work cohesively with other plant departments to ensure 100% on time delivery of materials/products internal and externally

• A Bachelor’s Degree
• Previous experience as a Materials Manager or similar position
• Collaborative personality and strong management skills
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to create positive direction for the department
