Emergency Room - ER RN - Travel Nurse

Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) RN – Travel Nurse – Immediate opening in Canton, OH. This is a travel nursing position in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and be able to work in a fast‑paced, urgent environment.

• Provide basic bedside care, including patient assessment and monitoring.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Document medical history, check allergies, and record vital signs.
• Monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Assist with minor medical operations and provide patient and family education.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Capacity to stand, walk, and lift patients or equipment for long periods.
• Physically able to lift 20 lb regularly and 50 lb occasionally.
• Stress‑management skills with the ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, 1.5 years of practice.
