Daytime Rounding Hospitalist – Full-Time

Aultman Hospital – Canton, Ohio

• Patient Load:
  Average of 16.82 patients per day.
• Admissions:
  Typically handle one admission per day, with a full-time swing shift physician covering most daytime admissions.
• Procedures:
  Closed ICU. No procedures required. Ultrasound available for POCUS, which is reimbursed per procedure as an additional income opportunity.
• Team Structure:
  Work within a strong, collaborative team that includes:
  • 9 Physicians and 4 Nurse Practitioners rounding daily
  • A Medical Director onsite
  • An RN Executive Director
  • 2 RN Care Coordinators
  • 2 Administrative Assistants
• Meetings & Events:
  • Brief 15-minute daily huddle M-F to discuss census, care needs, etc.
  • Division meetings every 6-8 weeks to discuss group performance, challenges, and initiatives
  • An annual offsite event for team socialization and group discussion
  • A yearly holiday party in December to foster camaraderie
