Customer Service Rep
Superior Dairy is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative
. As a customer service representative, you'll be responsible for entering daily orders, arranging for hauling, completing documentation associated with orders and provide excellent customer service to our customers.
Quality milk and dairy products start on the farm and continue at Superior Dairy. At MMPA, our dairy farm families work with pride and care every day to produce wholesome, nutritious dairy products. Our commitment to quality continues onto the next step, as our member milk is bottled or processed into dairy products. MMPA bottles our milk in Canton, Ohio at MMPA's wholly owned subsidiary, Superior Dairy.

- Receive and enter customer orders with an awareness of special customer requirements.
- Arrange for hauling of associated orders.
- Develop an understanding of the order process flow from order input to cash collections and perform any and all required follow‑up actions.
- Provide post‑sales service for customers by resolving billing issues, providing certificates and product statements, and initiating the quality complaint process.
- Solicit information from customers regarding their specific and general needs.
- Determine root cause for problems as they arise and resolve them based on knowledge and experience.
- Anticipate problems and find solutions to providing excellent customer service.
- Provide back‑up assistance to others in the department.
- Perform other duties as requested by Manager, Sales Planning & Customer Services.
- Uniformly enforce policies and procedures among associates.
- Establish a positive working relationship with all clients and sales teams.
- Provide written and oral communication to customers, sales department, and other inter‑company departments.
- Communicate with all members of leadership to help identify any customer issues and keep manager updated with information, observations, trends, or changes they observe.
- Monitor billing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 5+ years of related experience in a customer service environment.
- Order entry systems experience required.
- Excellent computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Detail oriented with ability to multi‑task.
- Problem solving ability.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Basic dairy product knowledge.
- Ability to operate telephone, fax, scanner, and printer.
