Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support our finance team during a peak workload period. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage high-volume invoice processing
, and delivers accurate, timely results with minimal supervision.

• Process a high volume of invoices daily, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with company policies.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, receiving documents, and approvals.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, vendor issues, and payment questions.
• Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Maintain AP records, vendor files, and documentation for audits.
• Assist with month-end close tasks, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Support process improvements and ensure adherence to internal controls.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to resolve issues quickly.

• 2-5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, including high-volume processing (300-1,000+ invoices per week preferred).
• Strong knowledge of AP best practices, three-way match, and vendor management.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
