Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

A growing and well-established food manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its production facility near Jackson, Mississippi. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, driving equipment reliability, and supporting continuous production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position requires flexibility to work either day shift or night shift, depending on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
• Ensure equipment uptime, reliability, and safe operation of production machinery
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production leadership to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the facility
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and company maintenance standards

Qualifications

• Manufacturing maintenance experience required
• Food or meat processing experience strongly preferred
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with industrial production equipment and maintenance programs
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced production environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $80,000 - $90,000
