As an Assistant Project Manager with United Utility, you will play a pivotal role in driving project success and contributing to the growth of our diverse and inclusive organization. Your dedication to precision and collaboration will impact our business as we continue to elevate power infrastructure across the nation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities, track progress, and mitigate potential roadblocks.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support budget management and resource allocation to achieve project objectives efficiently.
- Contribute to risk assessment and implement strategies to address project uncertainties.
- Assist tracking subcontractor production, costs, and performance to support project controls and reporting.
- Assist with schedule updates and progress tracking in coordination with the scheduling team using Primavera P6.
- Maintain meticulous notes and clear communication with United leadership and customer stakeholders.
- Foster an inclusive and respectful work environment that values diversity in perspectives and ideas.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Construction Science or related field.
- 1-3 years' experience in project management or related roles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, promoting effective teamwork.
- Proficiency in project management tools:
Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, highly proficient in Excel. - Adaptability to evolving project demands and a fast-paced industry.
- Relevant certification such as PMP
