Data Center Operations Technician
We are seeking a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer to join our team and ensure the reliability and efficiency of critical infrastructure within a Data Center. This role is essential for maintaining high availability, managing risk, and supporting operational excellence.
What You’ll Do- Oversee on-site management of shift technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
- Conduct performance benchmarking, analysis, and reporting on facility operations and maintenance.
- Collaborate with IT managers and business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize safety and reliability.
- Operate and manage routine and emergency services on critical systems, including:
- Switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment
- Chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems
- Assist with design/build-out of new facilities and efficiency improvement projects.
- Manage assets and inventory.
- Support recruiting efforts and ensure customer demands are met.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Military/Trade School Degree with relevant experience.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience and management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- 0–2 years of Data Center Engineering or Management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of network design, layout, and low-voltage copper/fiber cabling.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills in electrical and mechanical systems.

Pay And BenefitsPay: $28.00 – $28.00/hr.
