What we are looking for:
Yazaki is looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join our Purchasing Data Management team in Canton. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions to the organization. This internship runs full-time from May 11, 2026 to August 14, 2026.
What you will be doing:
- Project Work:
You will be creating an organization format for Supplier Change Requests and joining the team to help clean up old SCRs. You will also be helping to perform data cleansing activities to help support the efforts of data integrity. - Success Metrics: Complete an organization format and roll it out by end of July and close all SCRs older than P84 and earlier by August 1, 2026.
- Collaboration: Intern will work closely with the SCR team, category buyers data management team, process leads and category coordinators, business units, and supplier quality teams.
- Education: Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period.
- Relevant Background: Degree/experience related to the position targeting supply chain management majors or management information systems candidates.
- Academic Standing: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Commitment:
Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks between May 11, 2026, and August 14, 2026, with the availability to convert into a Co-Op at the end of summer. - Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft windows products - Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
