Salary $20 - $30 per hour

The employees in this position are responsible for

• Supporting a PLC controlled 120 wide tandem flexible PVC extrusion coating line
• The operation will include set up, operation, breakdown and cleaning of all components, and the development of proper processing parameters during operation to optimize line speeds and yields
• Safe operation of forklifts to transport materials to workstations
• Ensure proper quality review of the product on workstations assigned
• Follow all company policies, including environmental policy and notify supervisor of any concern that may affect work area or company property
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience with plastics, vinyl coating, lamination, or printing production highly desirable
• Prior forklift certification and experience
• Ability to read and write English
• Good verbal communications skills
• Understanding of how to use a touchscreen (PLC) production line
• Ability to learn and understand technology associated with plastics processing

• Adequate vision
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures
• Stand and walk for the majority of a 12 and 8 hour shifts; stoop, kneel, crawl, climb
• Ability to climb stairs
• Ability and willingness to work overtime if required
• Availability and willingness to cover any shift with prior notification

• Mon, Tues, Wed, and every other Thursday from 6pm-6am (20% shift differential; training on days)
