About The Job Fagron Sterile Services (FSS) at their Boston/Canton MA location is a successful and adapting manufacturing facility seeking an experienced People and Culture Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, collaborative, and passionate about creating a positive and compliant workplace culture. As a key member of the People & Culture Team, the People and Culture Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, supporting managers and employees through effective communication, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and compliance with employment laws and company standards.

This role will report to the HR Manager and provide support to other business leaders to promote employee engagement, retention, and consistent application of HR policies and procedures. Pay: $65,000-$80,000 USD Annually

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance to employees and managers while ensuring fairness, consistency, and confidentiality.
  • Investigate and document employee concerns, complaints, and policy violations; partner with HR leadership to determine appropriate outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management, corrective actions, and conflict resolution to ensure alignment with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Support and execute company-wide initiatives that enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.
  • Partner with the People & Culture Manager to review, update, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement proactive strategies that strengthen workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
  • Assist with HR reporting, metrics, and trend analysis related to employee relations, attendance, turnover, and engagement.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding activities in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring a smooth new-hire experience.
  • Participate in and help coordinate employee communications, events, and recognition programs that align with company culture and values.
  • Serve as a visible and approachable HR representative, modeling professionalism, integrity, and the company s core values in all interactions.
  • All other duties assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, or related.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII, etc.).
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment in handling sensitive matters.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
