The Canton Public Schools is looking for dynamic Substitute Teachers that have a love for learning, a passion for education, and hold the values of the Canton Public Schools. Qualified candidates will have a drive to support our schools, our classrooms, our educators and our students. Substitute teachers are an integral part of our school community and are essential staff members that step in for our educators during an absence and continue the fun, excitement and learning for our students.

The Canton Public Schools is made up of 6 schools:
Canton High School, Galvin Middle School, Hansen, JFK and Luce Elementary schools and the Rodman Early Childhood Center. Substitute teachers may have access to one or all of our schools.

Substitute teachers are at-will employees. Our greatest need is at the middle and high school level, so preference for those levels may be available.

Compensation: $110 per day / $130 DESE certified or previously certified.
