Accounting Manager

Soni’s retail client is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP. This role manages day‑to‑day accounting activities, leads the close process, and develops a high‑performing accounting team.

• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and evaluate financial transactions accordingly.
• Support interim and annual external audits, including preparation of required schedules.
• Partner cross‑functionally to support business and accounting objectives.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members.
• Maintain organized records and handle confidential information appropriately.

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Retail and/or multinational experience preferred.
• Proven leadership, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong ERP system experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Professional, clear, and effective communication style.

120,000 to 160,000 annually

Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job‑related qualifications.
