Assistant Store Manager – McDonald’s

Job Overview

Salaried Management Position – Salary $40,000 – $50,000. Includes insurance, paid vacation, educational assistance, and retirement benefits.

Responsibilities

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service. They may also manage departments, overseeing systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, and reporting results.

As a Guest Service Department Manager, responsibilities include maintaining excellent customer experiences, supervising crew and managers, ensuring sales promotions are executed, training service staff, and keeping the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas organized.

As a Kitchen Department Manager, responsibilities emphasize delivering quality, timely food, maintaining food safety, controlling food costs, and training kitchen staff on production procedures, including new menu items.

As a People Department Manager, responsibilities focus on hiring qualified crew, training them, scheduling to meet sales and profit goals, and motivating occupants through recognition and positive reinforcement.

Qualifications

Preferred previous managerial experience within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Positive team player with a flexible schedule, a passion for fast‑paced operations, and at least 18 years of age. Must be eligible to work in a corporate‑owned, franchise‑operated McDonald’s restaurant.
