The Special Care Nursery (SCN) is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing care to neonates with medical and/or surgical problems. Admissions to the SCN are infants born at Northside Hospital. Requests for admissions and direct transfers from other hospitals will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may result in an admission to the SCN.
