OPERATIONS - CITY MANAGER

We are seeking to empower a highly motivated, goal‑focused, customer‑oriented team member for the role of multi‑unit City Manager. As a City Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day‑to‑day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Location requirement: Must live within 25 miles of a store in the market.

Salary: $22–$24 per hour.

Properties: Canton, GA area.

• Oversee the overall management of multiple self‑storage facilities.
• Supervise several team members; typically overseeing 3–5 locations.
• Ensure all customers receive the best customer service in the industry.
• Ensure staff complete new‑hire training and ongoing compliance training.
• Ensure all facilities and employees adhere to company standards and procedures and that all properties meet their financial goals.
• Audit stores to verify accurate bank records and policy compliance.
• Conduct quarterly auctions and ensure compliance with current state lien laws.
• Review and monitor maintenance at facilities.
• Recruit for open positions.
• Coaching, developing, and mentoring staff when needed.

• Management experience of a staff of employees.
• Excellent time management and multi‑tasking skills.
• Multi‑unit property management experience preferred.
• Sales and marketing experience.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service and phone skills.
• Accurate filing and record keeping.
• Cash handling experience.
• Mid‑level math skills for auditing purposes.
• Must have reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance. Travel up to 80% of duties and ability to fly.
• Some light physical activity required; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• May be required to be outside for extended periods during inclement weather.
• Work Monday‑Friday from 9am to 6pm and may be on call Saturday and Sunday.
• Must live within 25 miles of the market area for this specific job posting or be open to relocating within 25 miles.
