Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with varying schedule

• 13-week assignment duration

• Minimum 2 years of experience within NICU specialty required

• Required certifications: BLS and NRP

• Provide care to neonates with medical and/or surgical problems in Level III NICU setting

• Work with specialized equipment including ReCam opthalmic imaging system, cardiac monitors, warmer beds and isolettes

• Care for infants born at the facility as well as potential direct transfers from other hospitals evaluated case-by-case

• No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered

This healthcare facility operates a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit known as the Special Care Nursery (SCN), providing comprehensive care to neonates with complex medical and surgical conditions. The facility is equipped with advanced technology including specialized imaging systems, monitoring equipment, and climate-controlled infant care units. The NICU primarily serves newborns delivered at the facility while also evaluating potential admissions and transfers from other hospitals on a case-by-case basis.
