Provides direct patient care and supportive services to patients with mental health disorders as well as chemically dependent patients to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients. Carries out a variety of patient care activities which support the maintenance of the therapeutic milieu and which meet the patient's needs for comfort and safety. May also perform the duties and responsibilities of an Emergency Department Technician.
