CAD Designer

Our client is seeking a mechanical designer for a temp to perm opportunity in Canton, GA. Those with 3+ years current CAD Design experience are required. Great company with over 50 years of custom fabrication and engineering serving clients around the U.S.

• 3 years minimum experience in part/assembly design and drafting, preferably for transportation, mobile, outdoor power equipment, or similar field.
• Associate's degree in CADD/drafting/design or mechanical engineering technology or related field. Equivalent job experience will be considered if applicable.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings.
• Experience with metal fabrication processes.
• Experience in bill of material creation and maintenance. PDM or ERP a plus.
• Must be proficient with Auto Cad 2D CAD software.
• Must be experienced and comfortable working with other Windows based PC software packages such as Excel and Word.
• Must be a self-motivated individual able to work as part of a team effort.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced production driven build-to-order environment.
