Service manager

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Service Manager who wishes to join one of New Zealand's leading motor vehicle dealerships. Blackwell Motors, part of one of New Zealand’s largest independently owned motor groups, holds the Mazda, GMSV, Omoda Jaecoo, Chery and Isuzu franchises. Our award-winning service departments provide modern facilities and use the latest equipment and techniques.

We are looking for someone with a proven background in automotive servicing to take responsibility for managing all aspects of our service workshop and provide exceptional service to customers while maintaining an efficient and profitable operation. Strong interpersonal and people leadership skills are essential. You will also need:

• A recognised automotive service qualification with a minimum of five years’ experience in the trade
• Experience in managing a team of automotive technicians and service advisors
• Proven history in a leadership role with the ability to lead by example
• A strong health and safety focus

You must have a full driver’s licence and clean driving record, and be legally entitled to work permanently in New Zealand. This position is well remunerated, with a company vehicle and associated employment benefits.
