Mobile Cleaner (Part-Time - Schools)

Hours:

15 hours per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day (between 4:00pm - 9:00pm)

Location:

Predominantly Canterbury, occasionally Dover

Contract Type:
Temporary initially, with a view to becoming permanent following a successful trial period

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Mobile Cleaner to cover two school sites in Canterbury, and occasionally in Dover. This role provides cover for both planned and unplanned staff absences.

You will be given advance notice of where your shift will be. You will only be required to work at one site per shift - you will not need to cover multiple sites in the same evening.

• Provide cleaning cover
• Mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Emptying bins and waste disposal
• Cleaning corridors and communal areas
• Cleaning toilet areas and replenishing consumables
• Carrying out all related general cleaning duties
• Ensuring the site is left clean, safe, and secure

• Previous cleaning experience
• Own transport essential (mobile role)
• Flexible and able to respond to cover requirements
• Good time management and ability to work independently
• Enhanced DBS certificate desirable
• Reliable, punctual, and professional

• Advance notice of shift location
• One site per shift (no multi-site evenings)
• Consistent weekday evening hours (15-hours per week)
