Overview
Shape how thousands of students, staff and stakeholders discover and engage with our digital content through strategic SEO leadership and accessibility excellence.
Responsibilities- As Digital Content Lead (SEO), you will collaborate with our Digital Manager and content specialists to ensure our website and digital platforms reach the right audiences with inclusive, high-quality content.
- You will lead our SEO strategy, champion accessibility across all content, and provide training and guidance to teams across the University.
- Lead initiatives that improve content discoverability, accessibility, and performance through data-driven analysis and optimisation.
- You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Marketing, Digital, Communications or a related field with substantial experience in leading SEO strategy and implementation.
- You must demonstrate expertise in performance analysis tools (GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog), knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2), and experience delivering training in digital or content skills.
- Excellent content planning, editing and optimisation skills are essential, with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to write for diverse audiences.
- Experience with UX research methods and content audits will be crucial to your success.
- GA4 or SEO certification (such as Google or Hub Spot qualifications) would be advantageous.

Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. There is usually a relatively even balance between time spent on and off campus; however, the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken.
