** About the Role
** We are seeking a highly skilled
** Management Accountant
** to provide financial expertise and support to organisational leaders. In this role, you will enable informed decision-making by delivering accurate budgets, forecasts, and financial performance insights.

Key responsibilities include preparing and managing budgets, reviewing financial results, completing month-end processes, conducting cost analysis, and supporting business case development. You will also play a vital role in building financial capability across the organisation by coaching and training budget holders to confidently manage their financial responsibilities.
** About you
** To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* A tertiary qualification in accounting with strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring
* 3–5 years' experience in a similar role within a large organisation or comparable sector
* Proficiency in financial systems such as Oracle E-Business Suite, budgeting applications, costing systems, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide clear, concise financial advice
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in contract support and financial analysis
* A commitment to continuous professional development and improvement
* An understanding of
** Te Tiriti o Waitangi
** and the ability to apply its principles meaningfully within your work
* Health sector experience is advantageous but not essential
