Senior Planner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Planner to join a well-established and highly regarded independent planning consultancy based in Canterbury, Kent
.

This is a fantastic role for an ambitious planner looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, working across a broad range of residential and commercial projects.

As a Senior Planner, you will:

• Manage planning applications from initial instruction through to determination
• Provide clear and strategic planning advice to clients
• Prepare planning statements, appeals and supporting documentation
• Liaise with local authorities, consultants and stakeholders
• Support junior team members where appropriate
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management

• MRTPI Chartered (or working towards Chartership)
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
• Experience managing a varied caseload independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach

This role would suit someone currently operating at Planner or Senior Planner level within a consultancy or local authority, looking to join a respected firm where they can genuinely add value and progress.
