We are an inclusive provider that places students and community at the heart of everything we do, reflected in our ‘Strong’ skills grading by Ofsted.
SafeguardingWe are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. All staff must carry out checks to ensure suitability, including conviction/caution self‑declaration, Enhanced DBS and sufficient referencing. As a designated establishment, we are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, so these checks are mandatory.
Compensation and Working ConditionsSupply Lecturers are paid £18.72 per hour worked. If planning and admin is required, a further half‑hour may be claimed per hour of teaching. For example, £140 per day is the rate for 5 hours of teaching plus 2.5 hours of planning and admin. Note that any addition to the approved staffing list does not guarantee employment or hours of work.
NextSteps
Once you have been interviewed and all pre‑employment checks are complete, you will be placed within the supply pool of staff available for temporary work. If we have an opportunity that matches your skill set, we will contact you to discuss the role.
