Qualified Registered Teacher (Fixed Term)

We are excited to invite applications for an experienced, registered and qualified kaiako to join our warm and supportive under‑two’s team. This is a part‑time (minimum of 20hrs), fixed‑term position across three days from the beginning of April until the end of November (8 months), due to a rapid increase in our nursery roll.

Qualified Registered Teacher (Reliever)

We are also seeking any registered and qualified kaiako interested in joining our relieving pool on a casual basis. You would ideally need to be available to work across the week and during our operating hours from 8am until 4pm.

We are looking for a kaiako who must:

  • Hold a minimum Level 7 ECE qualification with current teacher registration
  • Be passionate about working within a culturally diverse community
  • Demonstrate a strong, genuine commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
  • Be currently based in New Zealand and legally entitled to work – we are not currently offering visa sponsorship to offshore candidates
  • The fixed term position is suitable for a new graduate
