External Examiner Opportunities:
Social Work

The School of Social Work, Education and Teacher Education wish to appoint two External Examiners to support our BA (Hons) Social Work and MA Social Work courses at Canterbury Christ Church University

Suitable candidates will:

· Have a good understanding of academic standards, and quality assurance and enhancement at HEI level.

· Have knowledge of current developments in the design and delivery of the social work curricular.

· Be a registered Social Worker with Social Work England

· Have experience in teaching and examining social work at a UK HEI

· Be familiar with the standard expected at undergraduate and post graduate level study.

The appointment will be for four years starting from 1 st September 2026.
