Do you have experience in either Bricklaying or Plastering? Want to pass on your practical skills to adults to help them achieve their goals? Join us as Skills Practitioner (Workshop Technician). As a Skills Practitioner at our dedicated Bricklaying and Plastering training centre for adults in Hersden, you'll play an important part in supporting both staff and students, helping to deliver high-quality, hands‑on learning experiences, on an ad hoc basis.
You'll liaise with colleagues and external partners, support learners to reach their goals, and ensure workshops are safe, well‑organised, and fully equipped. Happy to receive applications from applicants who are interested in part time or full time hours.
- Monitor and promote excellent Health & Safety practices within workshop sessions.
- Order, organise, and issue stock and supplies to keep sessions running smoothly.
- Assist in workshop preparation.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students.
Are you organised, hands‑on, and positive about helping others? Can you offer your services for a few hours or more a week? We're looking for someone who enjoys supporting others to develop practical skills and confidence, while contributing to outstanding teaching and learning.
Qualifications- Confident to support and guide learners through practical tasks.
- Level 2 qualification in Bricklaying or Plastering.
- Some industry experience in the Construction sector.
