To meet role growth, we are seeking a passionate and qualified early childhood teacher/primary teacher with a special interest and expertise in working with children 2- to 6-year-olds to join our team at Aspire.

About the role

As part of our preschool team, you will:

• Contribute to a fun, creative environment providing engaging play based educational experiences.
• Build trusting partnerships with whānau, respecting and supporting their aspirations for their children.
• Deliver knowledge rich curriculum under the guidance of our curriculum lead
• Work collaboratively with a supportive team and contribute to a positive, professional culture.
• Previous primary experience is a bonus or experience delivering phonics/numeracy content in an early childhood setting
• Support with toddlers as required

About you

You will be:

• Qualified and registered (NZ Teaching Council)
• Professional or personal experience in an early years’ settings (2–6-year-olds)
• Knowledgeable about early childhood development, phonics, numeracy, and responsive relationships.
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing high-quality education and care.
• A reflective practitioner who values teamwork, communication, and continuous learning.
