Job summaryWe are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Strings Teacher to join our teaching team. You will have the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings in local schools and Music Centres. This role includes a blend of individual tuition, small group teaching, whole-class instrumental delivery, and leading small ensembles.
As part of this role, you will play a key part in developing and expanding our string provision across Canterbury, Dover and Thanet. Your teaching will directly support and strengthen the existing string groups at both Thanet Music Centre and Canterbury Music Centre , helping young musicians progress, rehearse effectively, and enjoy making music together.
We are looking for an engaging, inspiring practitioner with strong pedagogical skills, a commitment to high-quality music education, and a passion for nurturing the next generation of string players.

: 0.4 FTE inclusive of working hours for other duties - Work collaboratively with our team to build your lessons and create timetables that suit your lifestyle and allow for personal and professional growth.
- Travel expenses covered for work‑related travel.
