Job Overview
History Teacher required to work full‑time starting January 2026 in an outstanding mixed school in Canterbury, Kent. The successful candidate will teach KS3, KS4, and KS5 at a well‑resourced department.
School Information- Outstanding mixed school in Kent (Ofsted outstanding)
- Excellent transport links, behaviour, and a supportive senior leadership team
- Progress 8 above national average; exceptional teaching culture
- Teach history across KS3–KS5, delivering curriculum aligned to national standards
- Collaborate with colleagues and the head of department to maintain high teaching quality
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment encouraging student engagement
- Qualified teacher with QTS (e.g., PGCE) and ability to teach KS3, KS4, and KS5
- Legal ability to work in the UK
- Experienced teachers, ECTs with formal teaching qualification and QTS, and overseas teachers with appropriate qualifications are also considered
