Academics are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join one of our supportive partner primary schools in Canterbury, East Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about early learning and helping KS1 pupils build strong foundations in their education.

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons designed for Year 2 learners
• Create a warm, inclusive classroom where children feel safe, motivated, and valued
• Support pupils' development in reading, writing, maths, and early problem‑solving
• Prepare children for their transition into Key Stage 2
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff
• Build strong communication with parents, carers, and colleagues

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / Early Careers Teachers (ECT) welcome
• Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2
• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
• A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to teaching
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
