An outstanding UK healthcare opportunity is now available for internationally qualified dermatology specialists seeking a visa-sponsored Consultant role in the United Kingdom. East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Consultant Dermatologist to be based primarily at the renowned Friends Dermatology Centre within Kent and Canterbury Hospital in Canterbury, England.

This position is eligible for sponsorship under the UK Skilled Worker visa route (subject to eligibility) and offers a prestigious platform for experienced clinicians who wish to build a long-term consultant career within the NHS. The Trust serves a population of approximately 800,000 across multiple hospitals and community clinics and is widely recognised for clinical excellence, innovation, and patient‑centred care.

About Role

This is a substantive Consultant Dermatology post structured around 10 programmed activities (PAs), with the majority of clinical work delivered at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital and occasional Trust‑wide commitments. The successful candidate will join a highly respected and well‑established dermatology service with a strong reputation in skin cancer management, including advanced surgical and Mohs micrographic surgery.

The role offers a broad and stimulating clinical mix, including general dermatology, skin cancer, paediatrics, and occasional skin surgery. The Trust welcomes candidates with special interests that complement the existing consultant team. In addition to clinical service delivery, the role carries responsibilities in leadership, service development, multidisciplinary collaboration, and postgraduate education, making it ideal for senior clinicians seeking both clinical impact and professional influence within the UK healthcare system.
