We are seeking a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join the team delivering projects under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF). You ll play a vital role in maintaining excellent communication between residents, site teams, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
This programme focuses on improving the energy efficiency of social housing properties, including:
- Loft Insulation
- Ventilation Upgrades
- Window Replacements
- M&E System Upgrades
- Cavity and Solid Wall Insulation
You ll initially be working across a mix of houses and flats, followed by a further two years of ongoing works under the same scheme.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the main point of contact for residents before, during, and after works.
- Coordinate appointments, surveys, and access for contractors.
- Address resident queries and resolve issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Ensure residents are informed of project timelines, progress, and any potential disruptions.
- Support the site team to deliver a smooth, resident-focused service.
- Previous experience as an RLO, Resident Liaison Officer, or Tenant Liaison Officer within the social housing or property maintenance sector.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong customer service ethos and ability to manage sensitive situations.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
